Marie-Andrée Béliveau, painter

Marie-Andrée Béliveau was born in Arthabaska, Quebec in 1953.

It is through her art that Marie-Andrée Béliveau tells us about her shared love for the countryside and for animals. “Plastic language,” she expresses, “will always serve me to communicate my emotions in a concrete way. » For this reason, Marie-Andrée does not hesitate to move abroad to acquire new knowledge. Following a four-year stay in Europe, she is now reaping the fruits of her hard work and enjoying the success of her efforts.

Self-taught and figurative painter, she considers that the drawing is less important than the atmosphere created. It is through gestures characterized by several brush strokes that she recreates comical and tender situations, where animals exhibit themselves in varied and eccentric positions. Marie-Andrée Béliveau is a passionate artist who transmits her most tender emotions to us and transports us into a personal world.
